[99mTc]Tc-Soluplus is a radiolabeled nanoprobe developed for oncology diagnostics, specifically for imaging and monitoring therapeutic interventions in breast and colon cancers. The compound consists of Soluplus®-based polymeric micelles—an amphiphilic graft copolymer composed of polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl caprolactam, and polyvinyl acetate—labeled with the radioactive isotope technetium-99m (99mTc). As a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical, it leverages the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect for passive tumor accumulation. Furthermore, the platform can be functionalized with targeting moieties such as glucose or bevacizumab to actively target GLUT1 or VEGFR, respectively, enhancing tumor specificity. It is currently in preclinical development, where it has demonstrated effective signal-to-background ratios in animal models of malignancy.
